Our strategy has driven our growth since 2011

Our 3 year strategy, as outlined in June 2011, was to deliver double digit sales and earnings growth through a focus on Emerging Markets and Advanced Solutions. Not only have we met our initial goal but the progress we are making in the Group means that the opportunity to maintain these levels of growth is now available to us for the foreseeable future.

The key pillars of our strategy are:

  • Emerging Markets – which have superior growth rates and competitive dynamics
  • Advanced Solutions – such as repair avoidance and troubleshooting, refurbishment and recommerce of used devices, provision of insurance and care solutions, and business process outsourcing

Additionally, we are focused on building our repair business in attractive niche vertical markets such as the payment and terminals sector, and the medical devices sector.

Since 2011, Regenersis has built or acquired significant businesses in South Africa, Turkey, Mexico, Argentina and India; and in repair avoidance for the set-top box market (‘Infield Tester’) and the smartphone market (Xcaliber / Smartchk); in the buyback, refurbishment and remarketing of smartphones (‘Recommerce’) and in the provision of insurance and warranty care services (‘Digital Care’). In the year ended 30 June 2013, 81% of operating profit came from Advanced Solutions and Emerging Markets.
